Support Services

(Isle of Wight Only)

Practical, emotional and real-life help—especially for those who don’t want to burden loved ones or don’t know where to turn.

Island Momentum’s support services were created because so many people quietly struggle with tasks, moments or situations that feel overwhelming.
Some don’t want to lean too heavily on friends or family.
Others don’t want to “be a burden.”
And many simply don’t know who they can ask for help.

We saw a need for a calm, confidential service where people can get support without pressure, without judgement, and without feeling like they’re asking too much. A service that steps in when life becomes unmanageable, or when someone just needs steady company to make something feel possible again.

Why this matters:
Sometimes a person needs help—but not from someone they feel responsible for, close to, or worried about burdening.
Sometimes loved ones want to help, but don’t have the time, capacity or emotional space.
And sometimes, it’s just easier to breathe and open up with someone neutral, calm and steady.

That’s where we come in.

Our role is simple:
To make life feel lighter, clearer and more manageable—so you don’t have to carry everything on your own
